Being in transition can be difficult, confusing and an emotional place to be in. PIHRA Ventura County Career Services has designed this web page to help you by bringing as many local resources as possible while you search for your next HR position. When you are looking for work, you need all of the financial support you can get. PIHRA understands this, and offers members who are in transition or underemployed a discounted rate on annual membership dues: $175.00 for a new or reactivated membership, or $100.00 if renewing an existing PIHRA membership. Once your PIHRA Ventura County membership has been converted to an in-transition membership, your will receive three complimentary general meeting coupons so you can continue to network with your peers and stay current in you HR knowledge. PIHRA Ventura County members in transition also receive a significant discount on the monthly general meetings to help you stay in touch with your local HR peers. $19.00/meeting – regular member rate is $35.00/meeting. To take advantage of this discounted rate, please ensure that your PIHRA membership is converted to an in-transition membership before registering for a meeting.

As always, the PIHRA Ventura County Career Services Events are FREE to all PIHRA members.
Being in transition doesn’t have to keep active SHRM members from being able to take advantage of SHRM’s many resources when membership renewal time rolls around. If you are in transition, you have an active SHRM membership and you have not exceeded your membership expiry date by 90 days, SHRM is offering a free transitioning membership for up to one year as a way to help its members stay current on HR issues and provide them with the resources they need in their job search.
This transitioning membership offer applies to both the SHRM Professional membership and the SHRM Global Online membership.
