In Transition Resources

Human Resources in Transition

If you are in transition, we realize that this is a difficult time. It is not easy to know what steps to take to secure a position for which you are qualified. Thus, we have created a Human Resources in Transition Committee (HRTC).

They are charged with the responsibility of informing you of the numerous resources that are available in Pasadena, the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas that will help you meet your training and job sourcing needs.

Mission

The Human Resources In Transition Committee (HRTC) is committed to helping PIHRA members who are in transition, underemployed, or researching career opportunities, reach their full employment and earnings potential. The HRTC provides job referral, information, and education to its PIHRA members by opening up access to job search resources, skills development and networking opportunities.

SHRM – Free membership

available to unemployed members

“SHRM Transitional Membership is one of those benefits that you hope you don’t need, but are glad you have it when the need arises.”
~ Pamela Green, SPHR, SHRM’s chief membership officer.

Unemployment doesn’t have to keep active SHRM members from being able to take advantage of the organization’s many resources when membership renewal time rolls around. SHRM organization is offering free “transitioning membership” for up to one year as a way to help its members stay current on HR issues and provide them with the resources they need in their job search.

The global HR organization offers one-time free “transitioning membership” for up to one year as a way to help its members stay current on HR issues and provide them with the resources they need in their job search.

They are charged with the responsibility of informing you of the numerous resources that are available in Pasadena, the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas that will help you meet your training and job sourcing needs.
