California Employment Law Update – PIHRA hosts the California Employment Law Update (CELU) every year in October, right after the Governor signs new legislation. The California Employment Law Update (formerly the PIHRA Legal Update) is the preeminent gathering place for human resources professionals in California who are committed to mitigating risk, staying in compliance, and helping their organization save hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal expenses. Experienced California employment law attorneys will present important court cases from recent months and new laws and educate attendees about how the changes in California and federal laws will affect your organization and your decisions. California HR Conference – Every year, PIHRA hosts the California HR Conference, the largest HR conference in the West. This is a fantastic opportunity for HR professionals to build the skills they need to be successful in their organization and beyond. PIHRA Learn core courses are now available to PIHRA members as an included member benefit as of January 1, 2023. You can administer the core courses to all your workforce. The included courses include topics ranging from risk management to customer service.
