It would be easy to let the day-to-day administrative tasks take over. However, you still need to dedicate time to regular meetings with senior management, be well versed in <a href=\"\/legalupdate\">employment law<\/a>, appropriately guide senior management on risk, and ensure that you are not solely viewed as the person responsible for processing new hires or terminations. In order to gain a seat at the table with senior management, HR professionals need to be able to speak to the financial impact that HR decisions have on the company.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3_left-column margin-bottom-25\"><strong>PIHRA: Technology plays a big role in the success of HR professionals. In this system, you must hard calendar in time for strategic projects and meetings with senior management. Then time you spend on administrative tasks can easily expand to take up all of your hours. You must set aside a time specifically to work on other initiatives so that you can achieve both long term and short term success.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3_left-column margin-bottom-25\"><strong>PIHRA: What are the signs that indicate it&#8217;s time to outsource some of an HRDo1&#8217;s work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"h3_left-column margin-bottom-25\"><strong>LB: <\/strong>If you find that your handbook has not been updated in over two years, or if your job descriptions start to have dust on them, those are signs. If your to-do list consistently gets longer rather than shorter, then that&#8217;s a sign.
