As a condition of membership in PIHRA, each member pledges its support of, and adherence to, the principles set forth below. PIHRA members acknowledge that such compliance is in the best interests of the human resources profession, the community, its members, its business partners and its employees. PIHRA members agree to always:<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p-bullet-wrapper-gold-small\">Comply with all laws and regulations applicable to their membership, and to maintain high standards of ethical conduct in the operation of that membership and in their dealings with fellow members, employees, sponsors, vendors and others with whom members come in contact during their membership interactions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-bullet-wrapper-gold-small\">Treat all members with dignity and respect, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other characteristic or basis prohibited by applicable law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-bullet-wrapper-gold-small\">Maintain and encourage high standards of integrity in all efforts pertaining to membership.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-bullet-wrapper-gold-small\">Avoid any behavior which could construed as harassment, bullying, or degrading to any fellow member, employee, vendor or sponsor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-bullet-wrapper-gold-small\">Refrain from sharing gossip or negativity about the organization or individual members with other members, employees, vendors or sponsors, either in writing or orally, including through social media and any other public communication channels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p-bullet-wrapper-gold-small margin-bottom-25\">Take prompt action to address member questions, concerns, or complaints regarding unsafe conditions, discrimination, harassment, or any other matter involving the terms and conditions of their membership.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"h3_left-column margin-bottom-25\">Following these guidelines is paramount to maintaining PIHRA membership. It is the responsibility of each member\/employee to preserve PIHRA\u2019s positive professional reputation.<\/h3>\n<p class=\"body-txt-alignment\">PIHRA members are encouraged to make a report of any violation to this Code of Ethics that they may be witness of, or a victim of discrimination or harassment from another member.
