Leadership Recharged: Turning Managers Into Strategic Thinkers


This bold presentation shatters the old way of managing and focuses intentionally on new and growing roles and responsibilities of managers and emerging leaders. From the beginning of time, empires, kingdoms, tribes, and government all operate under a management-centric model. Managers organize, coordinate, plan and manage the team and processes. They become a critical part of the organization ensuring smooth operation and execution of goals.

Modern-day Managers now play an important role as leaders. More employers are calling upon their managers to take on leadership roles. This means managers must learn what is most important to a CEO: building customer loyalty, achieving bottom line results, employees, sustaining the organization, growth, and ensuring shareholders are profiting. Tiana draws upon her 15 years of Managerial experience and offers up a new outlook to teach managers how to “act like a manager” but “think like a CEO.”
While some get it right, there are too many Managers that are getting it wrong, resulting in lackluster performance and complacency for mediocrity. This presentation dispels myths about management and reveals the truth about successful management for modern-day managers and emerging leaders.

The audience will leave with a clearer understanding of their roles and responsibilities and the benefits of strategic thinking and intentional leadership.

Tiana Sanchez

Tiana Sanchez is a Professional Development Trainer and Speaker that believes there is no limit to your success! Her passion for raising the bar in talent development spawned through years in management and has an impressive career in the Retail, Food and Beverage and Financial industries.

In 2011 she launched Tiana Sanchez Professional Coaching Services, an Organizational Training and Development practice that is committed to helping individuals build up key competencies that help them perform better in their career. Through trainer-led workshops and competency-based learning she helps managers, emerging leaders, and students RE-THINK their leadership potential and RE-DEFINE success. To name a few she has coached, trained and developed the top talent for Southern California Edison, Hot Dog on a Stick, Sugar Foods, L’Oréal, Verizon and Time Warner Cable Arena. She is a two-time published author (most recent book, Undefeatable) spreading the idea that “failures are necessary and make us great.”

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellation. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to an event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
