Creating a Culture of Leadership
presented by Andre Julian
Having effective leadership in place is one of the principal challenges facing most companies in today’s marketplace. Without effective leadership, productivity suffers, morale erodes and company culture becomes nonexistent. In this session, Andre Julian (current Vice President at Merrill Lynch and former television analyst for CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox News Network) will give you tools, principals and action plans designed to help you elevate your own leadership skills and then illustrate how to disseminate this learning effectively to improve the leadership within your company. Specifically, participants will (1) learn about the five core traits effective leaders possess, and (2) receive guidance on three common challenges leaders face: how to effectively lead when promoted from within, hired from the outside, and how to be effective amongst a diverse working population.
This presentation will help HR professionals develop in the following areas:
- Learning & Development – Enhance development skills to provide organizational leaders and managers with cutting-edge leadership principles
- Talent Management & Development – Ensure leaders have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet current and future business requirements
- Talent Planning and Acquisition – Develop strategies to ensure that new leaders quickly become effective, whether being promoted from within or coming in from the outside
