The ROI of Culture
presented by Brian Montes

The phrase “corporate culture” is a widely used set of buzzwords that many companies seek to adopt into their DNA. Unfortunately for most, the idea of having a meaningful corporate culture and actually implementing that great culture often falls short.
The right culture can do wonders for organizations, from improving employer branding to increasing team retention. If done well, a positive by-product of a culture focused organization are measurable financial improvements and business results.

The ROI of Culture will explore –

1. What makes a culture great (hint – it’s different for every company!)
2. How do we strategically and intentionally design a culture that delivers a meaningful impact?
3. Overcoming the challenges of implementation
4. Measuring the ROI of Culture

At the conclusion of this interactive discussion, you will walk away with real life “best in class” examples, practical ideas for rapid implementation and a renewed passion to lead your company through cultural and organizational innovation.

Speaker

Brian Montes is the Founder and President of Scaleocity Works, a Global Business Advisory Firm focused on Workforce Management and Business Operations. Brian and his team at Scaleocity Works empower organizations to become destination employers. What does this mean? In short, it means that Scaleocity Works help clients accelerate toward becoming world-class companies where people like working for the organization!

One of the main drivers for Brian is the fact that he puts a high value on culture in the workplace. Knowing the right culture can give an organization a competitive edge, Brian focuses solutions around constantly improving the culture to increase employee engagement, reduce attrition and ultimately impact the P&L positively.
Before founding Scaleocity Works, Brian worked for both Fortune 500 companies as well as closely held corporations, leading global supply chains, overseeing business operations and leading teams of up to 50 employees.

Brian serves as a Board Member with the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the California Restaurant Association Orange County Chapter. In addition, Brian also sits on the United Way Orange County Advisory Board for the UpSkill OC Initiative and serves as a Committee Member for Disrupt HR Orange County and San Diego markets.

Brian’s education includes a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. When Brian’s not helping companies become destination employers, he is spending time with his family on their 2 and ½ acre property taking care of the family horses and livestock.
