HR Analytics and Me: Why Can't We Be Friends

Designed by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) this workshop will provide you with an understanding of the basic concept of HR Analytics, its importance to HR and business, what HR Analytics is designed to address and how to establish an analytics function within your HR department. By the end of this workshop, we want you to have reduced apprehension of analytics and set the foundation for broader and more effective use of analytics across the HR field.
Delia Ortiz is a M&A Talent Acquisition Project Manager within the Global Acquisitions division of IBM. She has over 10 years’ experience as a human resources professional leveraging her skills across numerous HR functions including Talent, Change Management, and Workforce Planning. In her most recent role at IBM, she was responsible for the successful integration of the Talent Acquisition function of newly acquired companies into IBM. She works with colleagues from around the globe to ensure IBM continues to attract, develop, and retain top talent across all levels of the corporation.
Delia received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Human Resources Management from Western Governors University and holds PHR and SHRM-CP professional certifications. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kern County SHRM as well as the California State Council of SHRM.

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellations. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to the event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
