HR Department of One:
Accomplishing More with Less
Sponsored by

If you’re the only person at your company with HR in their job title, or if HR isn’t in your job title, but you’re the only one responsible for it, you know how valuable your time is. From tactical administrative tasks, all the way to strategy and analysis, you run the gamut of handling all the responsibilities that keep your company compliant, well-staffed, and productive.
You are a mighty HR Department of One and staying on top of your game means knowing the most effective ways to spend your time and energy each day.
If you’d like to work smarter, not harder, to accomplish more, join PIHRA at Pepperdine University on Saturday, October 6th for a program guaranteed to equip you with the strategies, solutions, and dynamic approaches that can turn “keeping up” into “crushing it.”
Actionable topics covered during this strategy-focused event include:
- Proactive wage & hours best practices to help you and your company avoid liability.
- Onboarding and performance management tactics to keep current employees engaged.
- Boosting emotional well-being to support the happiness and health of your employees and colleagues.
- Hiring strategies to optimize background checks, criminal history checks, I-9 updates and more.
