James E. Umholtz, Esq.

James E. Umholtz is a partner of The Law Offices of Schlossberg & Umholtz, where his practice consists of defending workers’ compensation claims in the Corporate Office, headquartered in Orange County. Mr. Umholtz began his career in claims working first as a claims examiner and later being promoted to supervisor, where he created the special investigation unit for his employer. His practice focuses on defending self-insured employers, insurance companies, Third-Party Administrators and municipalities against workers’ compensation claims. He is dedicated entirely to California workers’ compensation claims, including Labor Code Section 132a, and serious and willful complaints. Mr. Umholtz speaks extensively to employers and provides training to claims administrators on many current topics in workers compensation.





Allison Seghetti

Allison Seghetti attended Western Oregon University and majored in Criminal Justice. She served as a police officer in Oregon for 5 years before making the decision to attend law school at Western State School of Law in Southern California. Ms. Seghetti works an associate attorney at Schlossberg & Umholtz. Her prior experience as a police officer provides her with a unique and aggressive approach to her cases.

Cancellation Policy

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellations. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to the event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
