Employment Law and Legislative Update
Numerous economic, legislative, legal and political developments in the past year have produced a multitude of current and prospective employment law changes facing employers in 2018. The Employment Law Update will include pertinent employment law cases from the past year on harassment, discrimination, wage/hour, employee privacy, arbitration and medical leave that affect all California employers.

Todd Scherwin, Fisher & Phillips
Todd Scherwin is managing partner of the Los Angeles office for Fisher and Phillips. His litigation practice involves representing employers in various aspects of labor and employment law, including Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) actions and class actions, employment discrimination, harassment & retaliation claims, trade secret protection, and administrative proceedings.
Todd also regularly counsels employers on dealing with difficult issues with their workforce including state and federal leave laws and wage-hour laws.
This program has been approved for 1.0 Professional Development Credits (PDCs), towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP, through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellations. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to the event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
