Who Are You? Reinventing Your Personal Brand
This course is about establishing a personal brand that will help you advance in your career and at the same time bring greater fulfillment to your life. The course begins by asking the question, “who are you?” and explores three areas that make up an individual’s personal brand. The next section talks about how to begin the process of establishing or redefining your personal brand and asks three questions to help you get started on this process. Finally, the last section covers four practical ways that you can promote your personal brand so that others will recognize and respect your brand.
The objectives of this course include:
- Participants will discover the three major areas that define their personal brand and be able to identify specific attributes in each of those three areas that make them unique.
- Participants will learn three key questions to ask in order take steps toward establishing, improving, or redefining their personal brand.
- Participants will find out four ways to promote their personal brand to make others aware of it and gain respect from them.

Gary Johnson has over twenty-five years of management and human resource experience and has been consulting and facilitating training workshops for the past fifteen years. His past work as a human resource manager and current role as the owner and founder of Scope Learning and Development give him unique insights into the challenges faced by human resource professionals. Gary’s work takes him all over the United States where he provides consulting, executive coaching, and training workshops on a wide variety of topics. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications, and holds a SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. Gary currently resides in Buffalo, New York.
This program has been approved for 1.25 Professional Development Credits (PDCs), towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP, through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellation. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to an event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
