This facilitation will provide HR professionals with best practices and processes for Human Resource General, Technical Expertise and Practice:

Dr. VaNessa Vollmer

Dr. VaNessa Vollmer is known to set up individuals and organizations for success by aligning talent with technology! VaNessa began her career in Human Resources as a Generalist and found her strengths in helping talent and organizations adapt to the global changes in business.

She has successfully designed and implemented Global Leadership Programs through International Corporate University settings for Hi-tech Manufacturing Organizations. She has a proven track record of analyzing business problems through solution focused resolutions that save time and put money back into the bottom line. VaNessa leveraged her core skills in various industries including Aerospace, Biotech, and Hi-tech Manufacturing global companies. She has partnered with Healthcare and Non-Profit Organizations. When working in Government, she designed customized trainings, programs, and organizational infrastructures that saved 100 Million dollars, in short and long term costs. This saved time, improved the customer experience and community served.

VaNessa shares successful one-to-one leadership coaching & development as a trusted advisor for C-level executives. After taking action on her recommendations, many people successfully moved up the corporate ladder. She integrates Talent and Professional Development from a practical approach, that is driven in research based methods and successful business results. VaNessa’s desire to help others, extends to her community through natural leadership serving on Boards including Toastmaster’s International and the PIHRA Foundation. VaNessa is an Author and spearheaded the collaborative book Adapt or Perish: How to survive the Firestorm of Change in Business, Leadership and Career.




This program has been approved for 1.25 Professional Development Credits (PDCs), towards SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP, through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).




This program has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) for review.

Online registration closes on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 5:00pm. Registrations after this date will only be taken onsite.


Cancellation Policy 

There will be a 50% administration fee for any cancellation. If you need to cancel, we must receive it in writing (email or fax) 2 business days prior to an event during normal business hours. Refunds will not be given to no-shows. Credits will not be issued for use towards future PIHRA events.
