PIHRA Sponsor Expert Shares Tips for HR Professionals in 2018

We talked to Amanda Osburn, Employee Benefits Broker & Consultant from PIHRA sponsor, Sullivan Curtis Monroe Insurance about what she was most excited about in HR in 2018. She had several tips.
Osburn highlighted a policy and form which preserves fairness and integrity in documenting and reporting for Over Time. This protects employees from not being paid, and employers from paying when they should not against false claims of Over Time.
On the Tech side, Osburn was excited to share an innovative software package called ALEX by Jellyvision. ALEX is a benefits communication, education, and decision support software for employees.
“It [ALEX Software] fills in the all-too-frequent missing pieces in the annual OE process and can contribute greatly to employees' appreciation for their benefits and positively affect how they select and use their benefits, resulting in potentially higher employee engagement, retention, and lowered benefits costs.”
She went on to mention she has referred many clients to ALEX and they have had tangible success with employees. An HR Director from a major retail corporation received high praise from the executive team for successfully implementing ALEX software and that employees felt they could make informed decisions.
