The PIHRA YP Program is designed to invest in the future leaders of the HR profession, most importantly, giving them the opportunity to build a network within their own community, and with more seasoned HR professionals. PIHRA YP provides the visibility and the tools necessary to help empower young HR professionals to become successful change agents.

Young Professionals (YP) are the future of PIHRA and the HR profession. It is vital that PIHRA be visible and accessible to YPs in Southern California to help build the pool of future leaders in the association and profession. Our mission statement is: The PIHRA Young Professional Committee exists to engage, equip and encourage young professionals who are actively working in or are interested in Human Resources.
With support from our sponsors, The YP program is able to host incredible quarterly events around Southern California to enhance the learning and networking capabilities of the YP’s throughout the region. We have started an informal mentoring network, partnered with all 17 districts and seen a huge, energetic growing YP population. With over 700 YPs and YP-engaged PIHRA members on our distribution list, we believe that we provide an incredible target market for any sponsor.
