HR and IT - Battling Cyber Security Threats Inside and Outside Your Company - The New HR & IT Partnership
Cybersecurity threats are a regular occurrence in our globalized world. Your company is a target. Don’t be fooled by thinking that only Equifax or Target get compromised. But unlike these multi-national companies, most organizations cannot absorb the fines, loss of consumer confidence and damage to their reputation.
In order to combat the constant attacks on organizations, cultural boundaries within the organization must be redefined in order for high functioning teams to work together and deploy a cohesive strategy. With IT and HR working as one, the creation, deployment, and management of a comprehensive cybersecurity program will create a unified front against both internal and external threats.
In this content-rich, practical discussion, Brian will identify threats from within the company, threats from outside the company, barriers to HR and IT cooperation, and strategies to create a robust, responsive and unified front.
