Getting Ahead of the Recruiting Curve - Designing and Executing a Strategy that Consistently Provides Viable Candidates

Ask just about any business across the US what it struggles with most from a human capital perspective and "recruiting talent" will be at the top of the list. From the most entry level position to the highest of executive teams, HR groups find it challenging to attract and recruit the talent they need on an ongoing basis. It doesn't help that many of our recruiting strategies, if we can call them strategies, have become very reactive. We wait for an open position and then react rather than viewing recruiting as an ongoing process even when no roles are open.

And that is killing our chances of ever getting ahead in the recruiting game.

Companies who are doing recruiting well aren't necessarily the ones who can pay the most or offer the best benefits. Successfully recruiting talent on a consistent basis isn't reserved for the companies with big brands like Google or Apple. Companies across the nation can change the way they recruit and create a pipeline of individuals interested in their company and ready to work when roles are open.

But they have to have a strategy.

In this session, Sabrina Baker, SHRM-CP, PHR, founder of Acacia HR Solutions will cover how to create recruiting strategies adaptable to your business that consistently finds the talent you need. These strategies will be scalable, meaning they can fit any budget and can be managed by teams with limited resources.

Attendees will walk away from this workshop understanding:

  • The components of a successful and scalable recruiting strategy.
  • Proven methods for building a pipeline of candidates
  • Emerging trends in the recruitment space.

This session is not for the recruiter or HR practitioner who is looking for the quick fix. This session will not provide answers to fill open roles without effort. This time is designed to benefit those willing to put the time in to get ahead of the recruiting curve and stay there. The benefits will far outweigh the effort, but effort is necessary.
