Carol has over 25 years of experience representing and advising employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including alleged wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, unfair competition, and wage and hour issues.
Ms. Gefis counsels clients through all stages of the employment relationship and defends employers before state and federal courts. She also represents clients in administrative proceedings before the Labor Board, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission.
Laura Conover, MBA, CCP, President of Conover Consulting Inc
Ms. Conover has assisted well over 250 organizations with employee pay issues in over 25 years as a compensation professional. She has consulted with numerous for-profit companies in a wide variety of industries, as well as non-profit organizations. Ms. Conover’s consulting career has included litigation support where she testified in high stakes employment matters. She has been an adjunct professor in the Graduate Management Program at Azusa Pacific University, and has been the featured speaker at business and human resources events, including Professionals in Human Resources Association chapter meetings.
