Jim MacNee founded Maitland Partners Executive Search in 1999 as a premier retained executive search firm serving clients nationwide. Having made executive placements in most disciplines in the medical device, hospitality, distribution, gaming, technology, manufacturing, financial services, tribal and aerospace industries, Jim is particularly adept at understanding the cultural needs of his clients and identifying the best-qualified candidates to lead their organizations.
Prior to founding Maitland Partners Jim was President of Manchester Plastics, a manufacturer of extruded sheet products; General Manager of Bear Medical Systems, an international medical device company that designed, manufactured and distributed adult and infant critical care ventilators; and Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Officer for Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. Jim started his business career working for Chrysler Corporation in HR / labor relations.
Jim has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Albion College and earned a graduate degree in Human Resource Management from Washington University in St. Louis. He has taught Organizational Development for the University of Phoenix MBA Program and speaks on Leadership, Job Search Skills, Social Media & Change Management at conferences nationwide.
Jim has served as the PIHRA District 11 Careers Chair and has been involved in SHRM since the late 1980’s.
