PIHRA SW Riverside
Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisory Personnel
Since 2005 California employers have been required to train their employees in harassment prevention to modify workplace behaviors that create or contribute to “sexual harassment”. HR Managers are qualified to present the training, but many are not confident in doing so. This class meets the 2 year training requirement required for supervisors and trainers.
You will learn the following:
- What are unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation under both state and federal law;
- What steps to take when harassing behavior occurs in the work place;
- How to report harassment complaints;
- How to respond to a harassment complaint;
- The employer’s obligation to conduct a workplace investigation of a harassment complaint;
- What constitutes retaliation and how to prevent it;
- Essential components of an anti-harassment policy and the effect of harassment on harassed employees, co-workers, harassers and employers.
