Call for Presentations

There are many benefits in being a PIHRA speaker.  You will gain exposure to a wide audience of HR and business decision makers as well as have an opportunity to highlight your expertise and position yourself as an expert among your peers. 

REVIEW CRITERIA & SELECTION PROCESS:  Abstracts are reviewed and selected by a committee of volunteer professionals according to specific evaluation criteria.  The review criteria include:
•      Originality of material
•      Overall quality of content
•      Well-defined focus
•      Practical applications of material
•      Evaluations at previous PIHRA or other events (if applicable)
•      Ability to deliver an innovative, effective and stimulating presentation


FUTURE PROGRAMMING:  PIHRA welcomes presentation abstracts from professionals with expertise in Human Resources and those who are committed to advancing the HR profession and willing to share best practices from within their organizations.   We welcome abstracts on ALL topics that relate to the Human Resources Profession.  Abstracts must clearly list key takeaways attendees will receive by attending your presentation and must avoid commercialism, promotion and advertising. 

EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS:  PIHRA’s educational workshops offer unique in-depth approaches to understanding workplace issues and provide hands-on opportunities for HR professionals to become more knowledgeable contributors to their organizations.  Workshops are offered in ½-day (3 hours), full-day (6-hours) or 2-3 full day formats. Workshops are hands-on learning opportunities focused on a specific topic.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS:  PIHRA is now accepting proposals for 2008 educational courses.  We invite you to submit a proposal to share your experience and expertise with our members and guests.  Please carefully read the information below and complete all sections of the Presentation Application Form.  Presentation submission deadlines are listed where applicable.  

Presenters, aside from selected Keynote Speakers, are not paid
