Welcome to PIHRA's District 1

PIHRA is a professional organization, which meets to enhance business contacts, knowledge and careers. Members and the general public may attend our meetings, which are held for business and human resources professionals, managers, executives and CEOs. We emphasize strategic business issues and trends at our meetings, which extend to various disciplines within organizations. We invite you to join our cohesive group, to make business contacts and enhance your career opportunities.

The best way to get to know our District and its members is to attend one of our events. Savory cuisine is always featured, whether we hold a breakfast meeting, or after-hours event. We welcome you to join us. We start our meetings with a half-hour of networking, follow with legislative updates, continue with announcements of current events, job openings and job seekers, and conclude with an hour-long presentation by a well-versed business expert. When we hold after-hours mixers, we emphasize terrific food, wine, socializing and networking. Our monthly meetings and mixers usually last two hours, though mixers are open-ended.

Our breakfasts are generally held at the Downtown Los Angeles, Sheraton Hotel. Mixers are held at various locations in the Downtown Los Angeles or Hollywood area. We generally meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, but the date may change due to scheduling of venues and speakers.
